Nomad's Land organized a rich itinerary to fit my time constraints and I was blown away. As much as some of the excitement can be attributed to Kyrgyzstan's unparalleled beauty, it was the access to ancient modes of life that Nomads Land facilitated and which swept me off my tired feet. I could taste local hospitality in the settings from yesteryear, swallow a wealth of landscapes where late autumn Eastmancolor competed, mostly successfully, with precocious winter's monochrome. Bakyt, my triingual guide, was super-attentive to my whims and patient with my zombie Russian. From yurts to eagle hunting, textile weaving to archaeology, hikes to simply zoning out to soak up the local flavors - it was all one could wish for in such a short period of time and more.
